Land Use / Land Cover

Land Use imageSEMCOG has updated land use/land cover for the region to 2000 using 1:24,000 black-and-white aerial photography, flown in the year 2000. The 1990 land use/land cover data file was revised at the same time to ensure comparability in the analysis of change over time within the region.

Land-use profiles summarize changes in land use/land cover for the time period between 1990-2000 and also provide density and percent developed land for each community.
