Teachers Bringing Ozone Action into your classroom provides students with opportunities to develop important skills in:

  • math
  • science
  • geography
  • social studies

It also provides students with the foundation they need to make responsible decisions about their impact on the environment.

Our kits, for grades K-12  were developed under the guidance of a task force of educators from the seven-county Southeast Michigan region with your needs in mind.

The resources and activities link MEAP science proficiency standards and Math/Science objectives with the Ozone Action program, creating "hands-on" opportunities for students that:

  • encourage interest in air quality and environmental issues.
  • empower students as they recognize their own responsibilities and abilities in "clearing the air."
  • assist you in bringing these issues into your classroom.
