2040 Regional Transportation Plan

The 2040 Regional Transportation Plan for Southeast Michigan describes how $36 billion in revenues will be invested to support our transportation system. This plan responds to the many new realities in the region, the country, and the world. It describes actions needed to improve the quality and reliability of the transportation system, increase our economic prosperity, reach a higher level of fiscal sustainability, broaden our access to vital destinations, make our communities more desirable, and protect our environment. Implementation of this plan helps improve Southeast Michigan’s quality of life. The plan includes transportation projects anticipated through 2040.
