Population
SEMCOG produces estimates of population and households for every county and community in the seven-county SEMCOG region. These estimates are provided biannually (mid-year and end-of-year).
Annual Reports
Annual reports are a review of the demographic trends in Southeast Michigan with detailed data and discussion of changes in the region's population and household characteristics.
American Community Survey Highlights for Southeast Michigan, 2010 summarizes the major changes in the region's demographics between 2000 and 2010.
Biannual Estimates
The biannual population and household estimates reflect current trends in Southeast Michigan's basic demographics. Please note that SEMCOG makes occasional adjustments to the biannual estimates as new demographic data about the region becomes available and is incorporated into the estimation process.
