Description
This study (formerly known as the Detroit River International Crossing Study) reviewed the need for and location of a new border crossing between Southeast Michigan and Southwest Ontario. Currently, two remaining Practical Alternatives, both in the vicinity of Delray and located in the area upriver from Zug Island to just southwest of the Ambassador Bridge, are being analyzed: Crossing X-10 – which lands near the mouth of the Rouge River, and Crossing X-11 – which lands just east of historic Fort Wayne.
Status
