Southeast Michigan Bike Maps

SEMCOG developed these maps to assist bicyclists in planning both recreation and commute trips in and around Southeast Michigan. We were helped in the process by a working group of county and local road commissions, planning departments, parks and recreation departments, and bicycle enthusiasts.

These maps are a part of SEMCOG’s ongoing bicycle and pedestrian facilities database. SEMCOG promotes walkability and bikeability as an important component for communities seeking sustainability and enhanced quality of life for residents.

Our bike maps have been created as layered .pdf files, which allows layers to be turned on or off. Turning off some layers will speed up redrawing time as users move around the map. We've created a User Guide which gives instructions on how to take advantage of layered PDF files.
