Regional Transportation Survey

Direction2035

Exploring transportation investment choices; establishing a regional investment direction
We need your help setting the direction for transportation in Southeast Michigan. SEMCOG, the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, is conducting a survey to gauge the public’s level of satisfaction with the region’s transportation system and their attitudes toward prioritizing transportation improvements.

The survey findings will be considered by SEMCOG and local elected officials as we explore transportation investment choices and establish a regional investment direction. The end result will be a long-range plan serving the needs of the region’s citizens and businesses by promoting a transportation system that is accessible, safe, and reliable.

There are two components of this survey. In spring 2008, a mail-out/mail-back survey of a statistical representation of the region was conducted. The survey is also available to the general public.

The results of the statistical survey are available now (PDF 3.9MB). The results of the general public survey will be posted soon.
