The goal of Southeast Michiagn’s Safe Streets public education program is simple: Promote safe behaviors that will educe the number and severity of traffic crashes, especially involving vulnerable road users. You can support safety in your community with Safe Streets public education materials provided below.

On the Michigan Traffic Safety Materials Catalog, the Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning (OHSP) publishes informative brochures, flyers, posters, and other traffic safety-related items that cover a wide range of topics, such as impaired and distracted driving, pedestrian and bicyclist safety, car seats, seat belts, school bus safety, and more.

Icons representing diverse modes of transportation, including walking, bus, biking, walking with children, wheelchair access, motorcycling, and driving a car, highlighting inclusive mobility options.
