At the July Executive Committee meeting, we premiered of “Experience Dining in Macomb County.” This first installment in this evolution of the Shop Local is “just a taste” of how this broadened initiative is aimed at spotlighting the region’s attractions beyond retail. Experience Southeast Michigan, developed in partnership with SEMCOG member communities, showcases the diverse array of shopping, dining, cultural, entertainment, and recreational experiences available in Southeast Michigan.

Recent releases include Experience Beverly Hills, Experience Dining in Macomb County, and Experience River Rouge. This project aligns with SEMCOG’s objectives of economic development, member support, and highlighting regional assets to position Southeast Michigan as an appealing place to live. Further videos will follow, and suggestions for featuring distinctive Southeast Michigan experiences are encouraged.
