Kathleen Lomako

Kathleen is SEMCOG’s Executive Director. She has decades of experience in both planning and administration. She has a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in Urban Planning from Wayne State University.

In June, SEMCOG’s General Assembly convened for our 2019 annual meeting. At this meeting, we:

  • celebrated accomplishments,
  • elected officers, and
  • recognized contributions of committee and task force chairs.

We also honored past chairs who all share a part of building the SEMCOG of today. Of particular note was the number of past chairs that remain active in SEMCOG. They are truly regional statespeople.

It’s my great honor to share this photo of the past chairs taken at the General Assembly.
