The New Future of Southeast Michigan

Throughout the spring and summer of 2021, SEMCOG and our partner organization the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition hosted a series of community conversations to increase our understanding of the effects of the pandemic on several issues that are key to quality of life and prosperity in Southeast Michigan. These conversations brought together local, regional, and statewide experts to share data and provide perspectives on several specific issues vital to the quality of life in the region. For each topic we heard directly from our communities on how these issues have impacted their residents and what we need to address these impacts and make our region stronger and more resilient in the future.
